The Wisconsin Experience is the learning experience we aspire to provide to undergraduate students during their time at UW-Madison. It is a combination of academic and co-curricular experiences leveraged by our institutional values. As a campus, there is an expectation that we will provide the environment and the opportunities, and that students will do their part to seize them.
During the past academic year, hundreds of faculty, staff, and students across campus provided input on how to reframe and more clearly define the WI Experience. We ultimately arrived at four core concepts, which each include a set of action-oriented expectations of students. Please join us for a discussion about these concepts and identify how faculty and staff can help communicate these expectations through their courses and programs.
