Join us for our annual Diversity Forum on Tuesday, November 1, at Union South. Programming will begin as early as 8 a.m. and extend late into the evening to best serve our second- and third-shift employees.
This year's forum is being developed in partnership with key campus and community partners to provide a broad slate of speakers, panels and discussions relevant to current topics, developments and issues about diversity.
We will highlight progress on the campus-based initiatives involving execution of the Diversity Framework, including the Diversity Inventory Program (DIP), a searchable data base to document diversity projects and programs across the campus and in partnership with the community and share an update on the campus climate survey. We'll also review the status of the campus process for reporting and tracking hate and bias incidents and share additional updates on the next set of initiatives in response to the call for proposals to improve campus climate. Participants also can attend our traditional array of panel discussions and mini-lectures on specific topics within the broad topic of diversity.
