Your faculty members are in a critical position to play a key role in student mental health. Oftentimes, they are the first to notice when a student is struggling with mental health issues, but don't know how to best support them. Without the tools they need to respond effectively, your faculty members may choose to overlook an issue and students may fall through the cracks.
Join us on September 13, 2017, and in just 90 minutes, you and your staff will hear from expert presenter Dr. Greg Eells (Cornell Univ) on the key issues facing your faculty members as they serve on the front lines in recognizing and confronting student mental health concerns as well as programs to enhance faculty involvement in student mental health initiatives.
You will be able to work with your faculty members through the use of gatekeeper training efforts to help your faculty members define their roles around student mental health, gain support and advocacy for your public health efforts across campus to enhance student wellness and resilience, and develop effective partnerships between faculty members and your campus mental health service.
