Preventing Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence at UW–Madison is a required online training module for all UW-Madison faculty and staff on how to recognize, prevent, and respond to sexual assault and sexual violence in the workplace. Information about reporting options and campus and community resources to support individuals who have experienced sexual harassment or sexual violence are also provided.
Employees without access to a computer as part of their daily work responsibilities and our English language learners will be offered alternate training opportunities on this important topic.
All employees must take the course to meet our compliance obligations under Board of Regents Policy 14-2.
Immediately after registering you will be provided a link to access the course in Canvas on your Registration Complete page. There will also be an email with directions on how to get to Canvas if you did not see it on that page.
When Registering, Do NOT choose the “Guest” option. If you do not have a NetID, follow these instructions:
Please contact uwcomplianceoffice@wisc.edu with the following details:
• First and Last Name
• Email address
• Name of the training you need to take
• Explanation as to why you need to enroll in the particular training.
After contacting the Office of Compliance, please expect an email from “Manifest” inviting you to create a NetID. Use this NetID to login to the training with the “NetID option.
