Competency: Interpersonal Communication
While email is only one method of our business communications, the best practices in email can also lead to better business writing in other mediums. While the methods, taught may help with journals and other articles, the main focus will be on professional emails. • Given classroom materials, the FP2L participant should be able to write effective and attention-grabbing subject lines • Given classroom exercises and discussions, the FP2L participant should be able to use customer focused language and organized business writing to ensure a well-received message • Given classroom materials, the FP2L participant should be able to identify active and passive voice in writing
