Join us for an overview of Qualys - The Office of Cybersecurity's vulnerability scanning tool

What is Vulnerability Scanning? Vulnerability scanning is an automated process of identifying security vulnerabilities (weaknesses) of computing systems such as web applications and servers. UW-Madison Office of Cybersecurity offers vulnerability scanning service and will work with you to secure your applications and servers.

Who should attend? We welcome anyone on campus who manages servers and endpoints to join us.

What will you learn? We'll be covering the basics of what Qualys does, how it does it, and how you install and configure it to work on your endpoints - along with some fun tips and tricks that make it useful for your team.

Why is this important? Vulnerabilities exist whether you know about them or not - and the more you know the more you can remediate! Qualys will help you find your focus areas and allow you to make your servers and endpoints more secure.
