For non-professional responders required to have CPR and AED knowledge or for those who simply want to help in an emergency, the CPR and AED for the workplace program teaches the skills to respond in a cardiac emergency. This module focuses on sudden cardiac arrest, heart attack, stroke, airway obstruction, CPR, and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Program content is based on the American Heart Association Guidelines for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and emergency cardiac care (ECC).
