This module is for new employees to set the expectation of the obligation to work safely at all times. Included will be an explanation of the relationship of OSHA and the State of Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services. Participants read the OSHA “It’s the Law” statement; be advised of basic safety responsibilities, management and supervisor’s responsibilities. It also defines the need for supervisors to assess the next level of training required for the employee to perform their activities safely.
