This online course (RSRW Part I) is required for those who will use radioactive materials when working at UW-Madison. It will give you a basic understanding of what radiation is, the risks, and the safety principles you will use to protect yourself. Completion of both Part I and Part II are mandatory for those who will be using radioactive materials at UW-Madison.
Completion of refresher training, Radiation Safety 102, is required each year in October.
