Working with unsealed alpha emitting radionuclides has specific risks that you will need to be aware of. Monitoring frequency is increased compared to beta and gamma emitters. The in-class course is offered on an as needed basis. Contact the Office of Radiation Safety at radiationsafety@wisc.edu for more information.
Once you have completed the course, you will be given access to the quiz. A score of 80% is required to pass the course.
