Searching for Excellence and Diversity®: A Refresher/Update (back)

Description:
This session of WISELI’s workshop for faculty search committees is intended for faculty and staff who have previously participate in at least two complete workshop series during previous years.

The session will consist primarily of discussions that will focus on:

Sharing experiences and strategies for recruiting diverse and excellent applicants

Discussing how evaluation of candidates has been conducted and effective strategies for reducing bias

Providing information on new resources, new research, new evidence-based strategies

Prerequisite: Completion of both Session 1 and Session 2 of the two-part workshop series at least twice, or attending a combined workshop, at least twice in past years.

Intended Audience:
Faculty and Staff who have previously participated in at least 2 complete workshops in past years (i.e, attended both Session 1 and Session 2 of the two-part workshop series twice; or attended the combined workshop session twice).
