The UW-Madison Public History Project is a multi-year effort to uncover and give voice to the histories of racism and discrimination at the university. Since its inception in 2019, the Project has researched over 150 years of history, uncovering countless stories of struggle, triumph, resistance, and resilience. The Project’s Director, Kacie Lucchini Butcher, will present on the Project’s newest discoveries and address the importance of learning from our institution’s past.

You can also pay with a funding string during or after registration. No payments will be accepted at the event and all registrations need to be paid 8 days prior to the event.
