This course is an introduction to project-based payroll certification and the online system used to complete certification (ECC-Employee Compensation Compliance).
Target Audience:
This course is intended for UW staff who play a role in what was previously known as “effort reporting”. This might include Effort Coordinators, Accountants, Payroll Coordinators, Department Administrators and many more.
Recommended Prerequisites:
None
After participating in this course, learners will be able to:
• Understand what project-based payroll certification is
• Know the different stages of the payroll certification cycle, along with their role during each
• Complete basic navigation in ECC
• Run helpful reports in ECC
