This course is designed for the UW-Madison research community. It's especially important for faculty that engage in, or propose to engage in, sponsored projects. Other members of the research community, like department or research administrators, may also find it useful.
Upon completion of this course, learners will be able to:
1. Explain the key principles of sponsored projects, effort, commitments, and payroll certification.
2. Communicate the basic requirements that apply in proposing/managing effort, and certifying payroll, on sponsored projects.
