Gift in Kind Training (back)

Description:
This course provides an overview of the procedures involved with accepting a Gift in Kind at UW-Madison, also referred to as a non-monetary donation. This training will walk through the steps involved with accepting and processing a Gift in Kind, as well as how to complete a Gift in Kind Routing Form and what documentation is required. This training covers accepting in kind gifts that are considered capital equipment, and what to do if a donor requests a gift agreement. Participants will also learn where to find additional resources and support. It is estimated to take approximately 25 minutes to complete this training.

This course is intended for anyone on the UW-Madison campus who may wish to accept a donation of a non-monetary item, and for any departmental or financial staff who assist with processing and completing documentation related to gifts for UW-Madison.
