This online course is for all UW-Madison employees, volunteers, and contractors who interact with minors in youth activities.
Under Governor’s Executive Order #54 (EO 54), all UW System employees are mandated reporters of child abuse and neglect and have an obligation to report directly to the authorities. At UW-Madison, this mandate includes volunteers and contractors working on behalf of the university. This Canvas course does not offer a certificate of completion. However, when using your NetID to complete this course, your completion is recorded on your learning transcript through the OHRD catalog.
Individuals who work with youth programs and activities must complete this training every two years.
