Learning best practices for managing your digital research materials can help you save time and headaches. This workshop will cover what counts as “data” in humanistic research, helpful tips for structuring and naming project files, useful digital tools, storage and back up, and considerations for sharing materials and data unique to humanities research.
If you require any accessibility accommodations to attend or participate in this event, please let us know by emailing jennifer.patino@wisc.edu with the subject “Managing Research Materials and Data for Humanists Accommodations.” Requests for sign-language interpreters, real-time captioning, Braille or electronic documents should be made at least two weeks before the event. We will attempt to fulfill requests made after this date but cannot guarantee they will be met. This is an online session, and Zoom captions will be turned on.
