The Academic Staff Institute is an annual professional development conference for UW-Madison academic staff held during the spring semester. The 2026 conference will be held on April 16, 2026 at Union South.
The conference is a joint effort between the Madison Academic Staff Network, the Academic Staff Executive Committee (ASEC), the Office of the Secretary of the Academic Staff, and the Academic Staff Assembly.

If you would like to pay by credit card, please pay through your transcript. To get directions on how to do that, please call 608-262-7107 or pay during registration. You can also pay with a Workday worktag during or after registration. No payments will be accepted at the event and all registrations need to be paid 15 days prior to the event.
