Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) refers to a group of neurodevelopment disorders that affect how people communicate, learn, behave, and socially interact. This session is an educational overview designed to provide a better understanding of autism.
Participants will learn about:
- What is Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)?
- Symptoms that may indicate ASD
- Treatments for managing ASD symptoms
- Ways to support children with ASD
